Hey, I’m Charles Sawadogo, the founder of CyberStart. I am a Cybersecurity Engineer with over 10 years of experience in the field.Â
I know what it’s like to feel stuck in a job that doesn’t pay well and wonder if there’s a way out.
Before I got into cybersecurity, I worked all kinds of jobs—washing cars, cooking in a restaurant, stocking shelves—just trying to make ends meet. I was living paycheck to paycheck, struggling to pay bills, and hoping for something better for my family.
I didn’t have an IT background, but I took a chance on myself. I started learning about cybersecurity and went through an IT training program. It wasn’t easy, but when I finally landed my first IT job, everything changed.
I went from making $25K a year to nearly $100K at my first job. That shift allowed me to provide for my wife and kids, enroll them in sports and extracurricular activities, buy my first home, get a nice car, and truly enjoy life.
That’s why I started CyberStart—to help others do the same. You don’t need to be a tech expert to start. If you’re willing to learn and put in the work, I’ll show you the path to a cybersecurity career. If I could do it, you can too.
