Hey, I’m Charles. I'm one of the co-founders of CyberStart. I am a Cybersecurity Engineer with over 10 years of experience in the field.Â
I know what it’s like to feel stuck in a job that doesn’t pay well and wonder if there’s a way out.
Before I got into Cybersecurity, I worked all kinds of jobs—washing cars, cooking in a restaurant, 10/hr security guard, stocking shelves—just trying to make ends meet. I was living paycheck to paycheck, working two jobs, struggling to pay rent, and hoping for something better for my family.Â
I didn’t have an IT background, but I took a chance on myself. I went through an IT training program and started learning about cybersecurity. It wasn’t easy, but when I finally landed my first IT job, everything changed.
I went from making $25K a year to nearly $100K at my first job. That shift allowed me to provide for my family, enroll my kids in sports and extracurricular activities, purchase my first home, drive a reliable, new car, and finally enjoy my hard work.Â
That’s why I started CyberStart—to help others making ends meet live comfortable lives. You don’t need to be a tech expert to start. I wasn't and was one of the first students in my class to land a job. If you’re willing to learn and put in the work, I’ll show you the path to a Cybersecurity career. If I could do it, so can you!Â

Hi , I'm Kaday- one of the co-founders of CyberStart Academy. I know what it’s like to feel stuck in a job.
I used to be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), working long shifts and driving Uber on the side just to make ends meet. I started off as a nursing major, but deep down, I knew it wasn’t the right path for me. So I made a bold decision — I left nursing school and stepped into something completely new: Cybersecurity.
It was scary. I didn’t have a tech background. I didn’t have connections in the industry. But I had faith, determination, and a strong “why.”
Today, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity, I’m CompTIA Security+ certified, and I own few houses that reminds me how far I’ve come. But what I’m most proud of is this: I get to help people like you change your life too.Â
CyberStart isn’t just a course — it’s a community of underdogs, dreamers, and doers who are ready to break into tech and build a future that matters. If I did it with no experience, you can too.
